This time around I was at Casa Toscana in Lynwood Pretoria Gauteng, for Lynette and Nico’s wedding, It never ceases to amaze me how different and unique every wedding is and this one was no exception!

My photography weekend
It is 7H30 saturday morning as I sit here typing this, batteries are on charge, 3rd cup of coffee in the hand and a couple of hours sleep behind the head.
My weekend started 4H30 Friday morning with a 5H30 photo shoot in centurion, rushing back to the studio, backup the mornings photos, work on the photos from last week ends wedding, prep my equipment for the evenings shoot, rush off to the shoot in Pretoria east. Spend 8 hours running around shooting, another 800 photos to edit, get home at 11pm, backup photos, 1am……sleep!
the agenda for this morning, prep my kit, going to need a new reflector best i get to the camera shop, work some more on last weekends photos, get to this afternoons wedding in Pretoria East by 14H30, plan the shoot details, best I shave as well, back home tonight at 12pm, backup another 1000 photos, 2am…… sleep.
Sunday, coffee lots of it, upload a few photos to the website, meet with 3 brides to be, luckily in Centurion, get my ass to the airport for a 4pm flight to Cape Town

This past weekend I had the privilege and pleasure of shooting my friends Fiona and Sam’s wedding. The location was Caversham Mill in the heart of the midlands and was a small intimate wedding, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Here are a few photographs from the wedding and the wedding photographer even managed to get himself into some of the photos!

Here are some photos from our engagement shoot, we had some interesting weather to contend with, from sunny and bright to pouring with rain in an hour! Watching young couples in love with each other through my view finder is truly a treat, really, looking forward to your wedding guys!
